Eligibility for transgender persons in sleddogsports
All competing transgender athletes must have a TUE from the IFSS TUE committee. The TUE committee follows the WADA physician guideline for transgender.
Transgender males with a TUE are eligible to participate in all classes open to men.
Transgender females (who are recorded as males at birth and has gone through a puberty) have a long-lasting advantage with higher muscular strength and better endurance. Transgender females with a TUE are eligible to participate in all classes open to women except Skidog classes, Dryland canicross, Scooter one dog and bike classes.
