MUSA will take care of lodging and transportation of the Norwegian athletes at the training camp and afterwards to the Dryland WCh in Quebec. IFSS has approved support to pay part of the other expenses (e.g. air fare between Europe and North America). A budget has been approved to a support of $3,000 (about 50% of the total expenses). Option 3: When the minimum number of 5 participants in a class is not
reached, the various Nordic style classes (men, women, 1-dog, 2-dog,
etc.) of a given event are mixed to reach the minimum required
participation. This requires that the various classes run the same
trail. This solution allows the competitor(s) of a class with one or
two competitors to be rated.  It does not solve the problem of one
single Nordic race with 3 or 4 participants in an event. It can also
be difficult to calculate the points fairly when different classes
are mixed.
